Goose Creek is an excellent blend of the affordability
of Summerville and the retail and industrial activity
of North Charleston. Access to I-26 is excellent, and
the retail centers of North Charleston are only minutes
away.
Moncks Corner, named for the nearby and still functioning
Mepkin Abbey, is a wonderful spot to escape the hustle
and bustle of Charleston's city life.
One of the most recent developments in the Goose Creek area was internet giant Google's announcement that they have purchased a large piece of land in the Mt. Holly Industrial Park. This campus style facility is expected to employ 400 people.
With homes in all styles and price ranges including
golf and tennis amenities, Crowfield Plantation is the
place to be in Goose Creek. New homes are plentiful in Bradford's Bend, Liberty Hall, and Foxbank Plantation.
